Signal Marine Shipping Options


 At Signal Marine, we offer all of our customers the ability to ship via UPS Ground, UPS Express Two Day Delivery, and UPS Express Next Day Delivery. Shipping rates are easily calculated based on the total weight of the items in your order and that total amount is incorporated into our shopping cart application. We see this as an advantage to our customers because our shopping cart reflects a "total cost of order" while shopping.


Customer Pickup Services

We do offer customer pickup at our Novi, MI location for a select number of items. Pickup times must be scheduled by phone. Available pickup times occur Monday thru Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM. Customer pickup service is for U.S. residents only.

Determining Shipping & Handling Cost(s) for Items Listed for Purchase

Determining the shipping & handling costs for any item listed on Signal Marine is easy, simply add the item to your shopping cart! There is no requirement to buy. Adding item(s) to your cart will show you freight options and the associated costs for the items in your cart prior to placing the order.
There are no added surprise cost for shipping after you have selected the items in your cart. You can view the shipping charges for the available shipping methods at anytime during your shopping experience by "viewing your cart".

After 2:00 PM Fridays and on weekends, our shipping department processes new orders, but does not ship them until the Monday of the following week. We do not ship packages on holidays, including Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve/Day, and New Years Eve/Day.

Explanation of Signal Marine UPS Shipping Methods

UPS Ground - Delivery of your item(s) is expected to occur within 4 to 7 days of the placed order date no matter what day you place your order.

UPS Two Day - Your shipment is expected to be delivered to the defined shipping location 2 days from the order placement date, assuming that the order was placed before 11:00 AM EST. Saturday and Sunday are not included in delivery days.

UPS Next Day - Your shipment is expected to be delivered the following business day (MON-FRI). Next Day shipping requires that your order be placed by 2:00PM EST (Mon-Thurs) to receive your item(s) the following business day. Next day shipping does not guarantee delivery before 10:30 AM, however your packages may arrive in the AM. Saturday and Sunday are not included in delivery days.

UPS SurePost - If your shipping address is an PO Box or an APO we are required to ship your items via UPS SurePost. When this method is used, one can expect to receive their item 1-5 additional business days than if you were to receive "Ground" shipping. You will still receive a UPS tracking number for your shipment. The tracking of the package will be available up until the time at which the United States Postal Service takes over the delivery of the package to its final destination.

UPS Address Change Charges

UPS posts a $12.00 for an address change after a shipment is underway. If the shipping address error occurred at time of order placement by the customer during order checkout online, the customer may be subject to a $12.00 address correction charge posted to the credit card used on the particular order.

Service for Customers within the 48 Contiguous States

For all addresses within the 48 contiguous states, UPS guarantees the day of delivery for every ground package you ship. For guaranteed day-definite delivery schedules, please use the Transit Times or view a map based on your origin postal code. Scheduled delivery days are revised from time to time as changes in technology, distribution, and volume occur.

If you would like to receive your goods faster that what is provided by UPS Ground service, please choose another shipping method during your shopping experience.You may change your shipping method at anytime by viewing your cart and selecting from the drop-down menu near the bottom of your cart.

Service for Customers in Canada

Please call (1) 248-479-2229 to place your order, so that we are able to provide you with accurate shipping charges.  Please Note: Canadian customers are subject to duty tax and are responsible to pay duty taxes incurred at the time of delivery. Duties are to be paid directly to the shipping carrier.

Service for Customers in Alaska, Hawaii, and Puerto Rico

Most packages shipped to customers located in Alaska, Hawaii or Puerto Rico will be shipped at the two day air charge that can be viewed and selected by viewing your cart during your shopping experience. Please select 2-day air for your Alaska or Hawaii packages. Signal Marine will notify you if your Alaska/Hawaii shipment requires additional shipping fees.

Service for Customers in Military Locations

All packages shipped to customers located within the boundary lines of United States Military bases in the contiguous United States will automatically be charged a surcharge of $15.00 (USD). This is to cover the additional charges applied by United States Postal Service (USPS).

Shipping Oversize/Freight Items

Certain oversize/freight items might require additional shipping charges. Signal Marine will notify you, should such charge be required.

Additional Information Regarding Shipping

We will ship your order from any one of our distribution centers in various areas of the country, sometimes directly from the manufacturer.

Your package may not specifically say "Signal Marine" on the box

Please do not return the package under the assumption that it is something you did not order. 
The method by which your package is shipped is to your advantage and was specifically designed this way to effectively get the products you have purchased at Signal Marine directly to you in fastest way possible. How your package arrives to you will never impact the amount you were originally charged for shipping.
